ABOUT

Ernie Sparkles is a high energy, sparkling glitter queer performer with many ridiculous strings to his absurd bow. With an eccentric mix of drag, genderfuck, clown and comedy, Ernie creates a bizzarely fabulous and unforgettable experience. He has performed in a range of genres including. musical theatre, acapella, circus, cabaret, boylesque, digital theatre and character comedy.

Ernie is an experienced event host, hosting numerous cabarets and corporate events. He has worked with Wales Millennium Centre, Up Side Down Circus, Tramshed Cardiff, The Angel Hotel (Abergavenny) to name a few. Past clients have included Mencap Cymru, Gig Buddies, Go Compare,  WWF, Sofa Share Wales, Barclaycard, Sports Relief, Tenovus, and he has performed at numerous festivals - Greenman, Machynlleth Comedy Festival, Big Splash. He is also the director of Wales' premier hula hoop dance troupe - The Sparklettes, and iHeartFFlamingo - a queer theatre company.

Ernie is currently completing an MA in Drama at the University of South Wales.
